Dr. Thornburg explains how innovation can rekindle
interactions and activities from the past (2009). One example would be the
whiteboard. The interactive whiteboard in the classroom is just an improvement of
the chalkboard from the past. The SmartBoard allows teachers and students to
write information on the board to be displayed. The Smart Board allows teachers
to connect their computers to display information, which makes this an
improvement from the technology in the past.
